UC prepares a Weeklong Induction and Acculturation Program for the New Students
Classes start on June 14, 2004. To have the new students get into the groove of college life, the university of Cebu prepares a weeklong induction and acculturation for June 14 to 18, 2004.
The weeklong induction and acculturation activity commences on June 14, 2004 with a welcome program at the Cebu Coliseum. The opening program includes a welcome message from the schoool administrators and students representatives followed by welcome cheers from the UC Cheer Dance Team and the UC Chorus. The new school uniform will also be presented.
The classroom orientation follows the welcome program. Facilitators from Civic Welfare Training Services (CWTS) will introduce the new students to the "way of proceeding" and the "way of life" in the University of Cebu. The facilitators participated in a two days training in preparation for the orientation.
A learner’s log has been prepared to assist the new students identify the mission, values and goals while in UC.
