The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) brought to the University of Cebu the Philippine Mt. Everest teeam last November 23, 2007.

After conquering the world's highest peak and bringing honor to the Philippines, the team, in coordination with RAFI, went to the university to share some insights and eventually inspire the students.

The event happened at the Audio Visual Room of Alicia Gotianuy Bldg. at exactly 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and was witnessed by around 300 students, both in college and high school. It was hosted by Ms. Charlene Mae Cani (DATATRON President) and Merly Pasaylo (COE President). The students were very much overwhelmed when they personally met the Philippine Mt. Everest Team.

Headed by Arturo T. Valdes, the team was enjoined by Fred B. Jamili, Erwin Emata, Hardio "Leo" Oracion, Noelle Wenceslao, Karina Dayondon and Alejandro Escaño. The team culminated their visit through a courtesy call and a photo opts with the university administrator.
