For the UC community, September is often looked forward to as a month when the natal day of Chancellor Candice Gotianuy is held.  It connotes merriment, aside from being the first of the ber months in the calendar that heralds the approach of the Yuletide Season.

On September 4, 2007, well-wishers from the university’s four campuses trooped to the Administration office as Miss Candice Gotianuy received visitors who offered gifts of cakes, flowers, balloons and even serenades. The guests were treated to pika-pika at the conference room which was put together by the able College of HRM. And yes, the crowd’s favorite sorbetes could not be missed.
