The UC Main Elementary Department celebrated the annual Buwan ng Wika with high octane energy.

Headed by Ms. Rosella Villahermosa, the department’s doting principal, the pupils trooped to the Activity Center to culminate the festivities and to award prizes to the winners on August 30, 2007.

Dressed in traditional Filipino attire, talents were showcased through native songs and dances. The presenters were winners of screenings held prior to the event, participated in by all grade levels. Grades I-III were under Category A, while the remaining higher levels were classified under Category B. There were various activities such as Sanaysay, Paskil or Poster making, Awit in solo and duet, Tula, Kwentong Bayan, Katutubong Sayaw and the Larong Pinoy.

One of the outstanding numbers was that of Trexie Gwen Panuncio of Grade II-SA who sang “Isang Lahi” which wowed the crowd.
