On his October 11, 2007 birthday, Atty. Augusto W. Go chose to veer away from all forms of accustomed revelry and instead treated it as another regular working day.  A university-wide memo was circulated to keep the occasion as low-key as possible.

The only program put up to coincide with AWG’s birthday was the Annual Presentation of Sponsors and Parade and Review at the UC Lapulapu and Mandaue Campus. On hand to greet AWG were UCLM Administrators and faculty led by Engr. Analiza Son. NROTCU Commandant Capt. Flordelino Quiban PN (GSC) was also in attendance.

Skills and beauties were paraded but the highlight of the program was when the NSA cadets gyrated to the beat of pop music, after the silent drill.  METC’s Mr. Nelson Opon was the man behind the cadets’ rousing production number.
