In an impressive display of civic-mindedness, UC athletes and dancersjoined the Mass Blood Donation on September 14, 2007.

UC Athletic Director Mr. Bernard Ricablanca accompanied the students to the Cebu Coliseum Dance Hall for the activity. The students were made to fill out a form, were interviewed and underwent a series of physical examination procedures that included checking their blood pressure and hemoglobin testing. Those who were found fit then proceeded with the blood-letting under the supervision of medical practitioners of the Regional Blood Coordinating Council, Inc. (RBCC) who were assisted by the Department of Health.
