University of Cebu

The University of Cebu-Banilad Campus was established in June 2002 in support of the government's mandate to increase educational access for all as well as in consonance with one of the goals of the University to provide the best education to the less fortunate sectors of our society. At the start, it offered degree programs in Law, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, and Accountancy as well as relevant associate programs and short term courses. The College of Nursing was also transferred permanently from the main to the Banilad Campus.

With its modern buildings and facilities, competent faculty, affordable shool fees, and also its strategic location, UC-Banilad has drawn students to it more and more.
