What are the requirements if I am a Foreign Student?
A. For those foreign students who are still on their country
- A foreign student must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of enrollment. Section 1(A)(11) Eo No. 423 s.1997 as amended.
- 2. Submission of the following documents:
- 2.1 Six (6) copies of the duly accomplished Application Form for foreign students.
- 2.2 Six (6) copies properly accomplished PERSONAL HISTORY STATEMENT.
- 2.3 Six (6) copies of the:
- Original Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records bears the original signature and the embossed/stamp seal of the issuing educational institution.
IMPORTANT: If the prescribed original transcript of records not available, submit six (6) photocopies/xerox copies must be in the original inked signature and seal of the Ministry of Education (or itsequivalent) or other competent authorities of your country (school or government agencies)
- Original Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records bears the original signature and the embossed/stamp seal of the issuing educational institution.
- 2.4 Six (6) copies of Affidavit of Financial Support, duly notarized, executed by your financial sponsor, including bank statement, or notarized grant for institutional scholars, to cover expenses as well as school dues and other incidentalexpenses.
- 2.5 Six (6) copies of the foreign student - applicant' passport showing date and place of birth, and birth certificate or its equivalent duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post (PFSP) located in teh applicants country of origin of legal residence.
- 2.6 Six (6) copies of Police Clearance issued by the National Police Authorities in the student's country of origin or legal residence, authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post (PFSP) having jurisdiction over the place.
- 3. Payments/Remittance of:
- Application & Processing Fee -----------> US 0.00 or its equivalent
Upon compliance of the above-mentioned requirements, theregistrar/foreign students - in charge will issue a NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE (NOA) and duplicate copy together with documents above mentioned willbe forwarded to Department of Foreign Affairs/Bureau of Immigration forapproval and issuance of STUDENT VISA.
B. For those applicants who are already in the Philippines under other VISA who seek admission for enrolment must apply for conversion into 9(f) VISA and submit/comply the requirements A(2&3) above. A NOA and a letter request for conversion of VISA shall be issued and forwarded to DFA/BID for approval.
C. TRANSFEREE
Foreign student who had already enrolled in any Philippine HEI who wish to transfer to another Philippine HEI must present the following:
- 1. Certificate of Transfer Credential issued by previous HEI.
- 2. Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by the School's Discipline's Office.
- 3. BID certificate of no objection to transfer.
- 4. ACR,ARCTS & the documents mentioned in Sub-par.2.4 & 2.5 of Par. 2 above.
NOTE: Failure to comply with the above stated requirements, your application shall not be acted upon.
